Sprague Students Letter Writing Campaign - Tues. Dec. 11th - Parents are invited to help

Sprague students will participate in a letter writing campaign to local politicians regarding climate change on Tuesday Dec. 11th, led by Dr. Steven Goodwin and Sprague Parent, Phyllis Theermann who is also an advocate for Wellesley Green Schools and www.SustainableWellesley.com

We are looking for a few parents to help out from 11:30-1:15pm on Tuesday, Dec. 11th.  If you are interested please email Phyllis at phyllis@theermann.com

Parents will be there to help students as they write/draw their feelings and ideas regarding one of these lofty elementary school age appropriate topics:
-clean air and land on their playgrounds, backyards, etc.
- gardens they help nurture both at Sprague and with their families,
- friends and family that were effected by Sandy, or the hurricane in  Vt. last year
- protecting their favorite outdoor spot - morses' pond, cape cod, skiing, etc
- no idling
- renewable energy
- plastic bags
- other environmental topics they feel strongly about.
Thank you!
